Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has gone out of her way to portray the role of Silk Smitha in the movie ‘The Dirty Picture’ which has been released on December 2, 2011. Credit goes to the experienced film maker Milan Luthria, who has well executed the script.

The movie is actually a peep in the actual world of the film industry, which looks glamorous from outside. The director has showcased that the movie world is a male dominant field, but when a female tries to make her status more powerful in the field, then she has to compromise a lot.

The story of the movie is about a dancing star, Silk Smitha who’s life has been portrayed it the movie. Silk is ambitious and wants to make it big in the industry but certain external factors work against her and from there the downfall of the actress begins.

Vidya has given her best for the movie and so have the other actors Naseeruddin Shah, Tusshar Kapoor and Emraan Hashmi. The actress and the dialogues in the movie are worth a catch and scores full marks on entertainment. It would be interesting for the audience who are looking for some entertainment this weekend as entertainment is guaranteed.
